Design & Marketing Administrative Assistant

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $27-28/hr
Description:
A well-established wholesale furniture brand is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Design & Marketing Administrative Assistant. In this entry-level role, you will work under the guidance of the Brand Manager and VP of Design. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Qualifications:
- Positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel & Teams)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn, take direction, and grow within a creative team
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD a plus
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus
- Experience in home furnishings, furniture showrooms, and/or interior design a plus
- Must be able to travel at least twice a year to assist with tradeshow setup in North Carolina (April & October)
- Ability to produce social media content a plus
- Ability to prepare short product videos for website or social media
- Knowledge of AI and how to use it to streamline and create efficiencies a plus
Responsibilities:
- Support the Brand Manager and VP of Design with general design and marketing tasks, brand outreach, and special consumer & showroom sales projects
- Create PowerPoint presentations to convey design concepts while ensuring brand consistency
- Assist with purchase orders with vendors (art, rugs, accessories) and back-end QuickBooks entries for quarterly sales tax payments
